YOUNGSTOWN — Howard William “Bill” Walp III, 57, of Youngstown, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at his home.
Howard, “Bill” as he was known, was born Nov. 24, 1963, in Youngstown, the son of Howard William Walp II and Sharon Ingraham Walp.
He was the owner and operator of an independent trucking company. Bill loved to drive. He also enjoyed old movies, the “Oldies” music and scratch-offs.
Bill leaves his wife, the former Michelle Romeo, whom he married March 19, 1999. They were together for more than 30 years. He also leaves five sons, Michael Romeo of Loweville and Joe Romeo, Alex Romeo, Matthew Walp and Christopher Walp, all of Youngstown; as well as two brothers, Greg Walp of McDonald and Bobby Walp of Youngstown; and two sisters, Lori and Aaron Walp, also of Youngstown.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Brenda Walp.
Following Bill’s wishes, there were no public calling hours or services.
Private burial took place in Four Mile Run Cemetery in Austintown.
Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
